Lippes Mathias LLP seeks an ambitious attorney with one to five years of experience to join the Firm’s Insurance Recovery, Counseling & Litigation team.
Our insurance coverage practice is nationwide in scope and assists policyholder clients in resolving complex insurance coverage disputes, securing carrier participation in defense and settlement of claims, and maximizing insurance recoveries. Our team advises on the full spectrum of insurance coverage issue areas, including general liability, excess/umbrella, professional, pollution, cyber, auto, property, builders’ risk, employee dishonesty, directors and officers, and wrap-up programs, among others.
The ideal candidate will have experience representing policyholders in insurance coverage matters, including reviewing insurance policies, handling claims, litigating insurance coverage disputes, and/or drafting contractual indemnity and insurance provisions. Familiarity with insurance policies and coverage issues, and strong and effective analytical, writing, and overall communication skills are required. Experience with construction insurance coverage and corporate transactional work is a plus.
A new Associate should anticipate hard work in an environment that provides the necessary training and guidance in the specific areas of practice. Salary and benefits are commensurate with experience.
A New York bar license is required.
Salary range DOE: $95,000-$125,000/year
The pay range provided in this listing is a good faith estimate for this position based on the location that we are hiring for. Criteria included but not limited to, skill level, education, and experience, will determine where a candidate falls within the range.
