Description:
A leading international bank is currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Settlement Associate to join its expanding Operations team. In this role, the Settlement Associate will be responsible for supporting the settlement function for Treasury and Capital Market products. Key responsibilities include account opening, static data setup, trade verification, and bond trade settlement with Clearstream. The role also involves monitoring interest coupon redemptions, performing interest rate fixings, and processing derivatives and FXMM trades. Additionally, the candidate will manage trade settlement fails, handle settlement queries, perform intersystem and depository reconciliations, and ensure the accurate and timely processing of remittances. The successful candidate will also be responsible for submitting regulatory reports, ensuring compliance with internal guidelines, and participating in process improvement initiatives to enhance service quality and operational efficiency.
The ideal candidate for this position should comes with 2 to 5 years of relevant banking experience. A strong understanding of Fixed Income, FXMM, Interest Rate, and Credit Derivatives products and processing functions is essential. Knowledge of SWIFT messaging and experience with Murex and Avaloq systems are highly desirable. The candidate should possess excellent conceptual and analytical skills, be proactive in identifying and resolving issues, and demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly MS Excel, and the ability to work effectively within a team are crucial. The successful candidate will exhibit a commitment to delivering exceptional client value and show adaptability in a dynamic work environment.
