The BI & Reporting Team is responsible for driving forward our strategy using data, reporting and insights to inform key decisions and drive business growth. We’re making data at the heart of what we do as a business, and we look to embed insights and dashboards into daily decision making, as core drivers of competitive advantage for Zigzag Global.
We have built a lass end to end data platform based on modern cloud-based technologies that can support leveraging insights at scale. We have developed an embedded reporting portal to serve the 100s of organisations that we partner with. We are looking for someone who can work effectively in a team of analysts to drive forward reporting capabilities to better inform our clients and internal business decisions. A person who enjoys collaborating and building BI outputs so that stakeholders to make better informed decisions.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 0-2 years of experience in an analyst, with a focus on business intelligence or data visualisation
- Some technical capability with SQL, Tableau and Excel. Tableau certification is a plus
- Admin level knowledge of Tableau Server
- Interest in data visualisation, adhering to industry best practice, along with the ability or willingness to innovate or ‘hack-around’ complex problems
- Data interrogation and transformation capabilities using SQL
- A motivated problem solver, who keen eye for detail, with the ability to support the peer review process
- Clear and concise communicator
- A passion for working with data as part of a collaborative team.

Responsibilities:
We are looking to create a world class reporting solution, where we can leverage business intelligence and generate insights at scale. We would like our new associate BI & Reporting Analyst to be an intrinsic part of making this happen. Responsibilities include:
- Report building and support across key business areas across our retail, carrier and internal verticals
- Management of the admin environment for Tableau Server
- Collaborating with peers and stakeholders to deliver the BI roadmap.
- Driving change through strategic reports, insights and presentations.
- Working with the team to present and articulating complex insights and demos in a compelling and concise way
- Supporting the scoping out reporting requirements that add value to the business and align to our business goals
- Building SQL tables in our reporting layer (Databricks, DBT) that feed reporting capabilities.
- Supporting on data literacy training initiatives across visualisation best practice, report usage and report exploratory insights
- Supporting ad-hoc reporting requests
