Responsibilities:

We are looking for someone who is both dynamic and enjoys the challenge of a constantly changing work environment. The position key focus is to enable the efficient management of the day to day running and coordination of the Gynaecology Theatre.
A high level of clinical knowledge and familiarity of the specialty requirements, accompanied by a strong knowledge of operating theatre standards, processes and policies is required.
The role is to lead and manage a team that provides high quality care to patients undergoing gynaecology surgery at Wellington Regional Hospital. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of this high volume and demanding specialty.
The ACNM will provide an effective flow of patients through the theatre ensuring the use of time is maximised and resource utilisation is optimised throughout the peri-operative, intra-operative and post-operative phase. You will encounter a variety of challenges and complex situations on a daily basis and have the ability to critically analyse situations and find solutions.
