ABOUT THE ROLE
Functionally reporting to the Head of Portfolio and Transaction Management, Value Chain Finance (“VCF”) APAC, we are currently searching for a Client Servicing Group (“CSG”) Officer to join our growing team on a full-time permanent basis based in our Sydney head office.
As a Client Servicing Group Officer, you can make a difference by being the single point of contact within Value Chain Finance regarding servicing clients in a risk and control-based way and making sure that these tailor-made products are implemented timely and accurate, to meet the international service level agreements and market practices.
Within our Centre of Competence, we provide a high tailored made service on our Inventory, Receivables and Payables transactions for the core corporate relationships of Rabobank Wholesale. This role is a critical servicing function that performs daily and monthly activities affecting: the G/L, customer/lender activities, new loan closings as well as various other post-close functions including amendments, term sheets, fee allocations, reviewing client requests, monitoring ratio’s versus triggers, check utilization versus limits, monitor performance of assets, liaise with clients on purchasing offers of commodities and assets, make sure legal true sale ownership documents are in place, UCC filing, and arrange timely execution. On a monthly basis provide the regional management reporting like Portfolio Overview. As part of the wider team, you will contribute to VCF’s success both in APAC as well as globally.
Among other tasks and responsibilities, you will support the Client Servicing Group officer with daily and weekly tasks such as compiling third party market commodity prices and distributing to clients, ensuring accurate settlement processes for standard VCF products, safeguarding data quality in VCF systems such as SIP Global and DWC, help prepare management reporting, and resolve queries from stakeholders such as clients, participant banks, and internal operations. You will assist the CSG team with projects and global initiatives such as CBT (Core Banking Transformation), DWC (Digital Working Capital), SIP Global, and various other projects that will increase efficiencies and productivity and reduce the risk of error and reduce the costs by implementing more automated processes.
TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL HAVE:
- University Graduate in finance, accounting, business, economics, law, or other banking related discipline
- Experience in an International Wholesale banking environment.
- Excellent communication skills, drive, collaborator, understanding of financial analysis & risk.
- Experience with working capital products like securitization, receivables monetization, inventory finance, asset-based lending and or supplier finance products
- Good analytical skills, result, and quality driven and an excellent communicator (verbally and in writing)
- Attention to detail and organised.
- Creative problem-solving skills, strong drive, and ability to perform under pressure and deadlines.
