Key Responsibilities

• Conversant with credit considerations, credit risk profiling mitigants, internal credit and approval process and keeping a close watch on the risk profile of the portfolio.
• Undertake company and industry research through various databases (Factiva, ThomsonOne, Bloomberg, regulatory bodies, public sources)
• Perform financial analysis and financial modelling (discounted cash flows, trading & transaction comparables, pro-forma analysis)
• Preparation of pitch books for IBA Coverage deals and execution of mandated transactions
• Perform credit reviews on all IBA coverage clients (internal and external)
• Ensuring compliance with all Compliance requirements
• Build and maintain relationships with clients at the appropriate level and seniority
• Assist and support senior bankers in achieving the budget for IBA
• Assist and support senior bankers in securing franchise building mandates

Requirements

• Degree holder in relevant fields
• Corporate finance and corporate banking experience
• 2-4 years in a local corporate finance entity or M&A
