Aegis Living is looking for an Associate General Consel that will provide assistance to the General Consel.
Responsibilities:
The Associate Counsel will provide guidance to attorneys and staff on risk management and employment issues with particular emphasis on workers compensation.
The candidate will manage a workers compensation docket across California, Nevada, and Washington. The candidate will be responsible for client contact, close teamwork with partners, paralegals, attorneys, and staff. The candidate will be responsible for all aspects of the workers compensation cases, including evaluating the merits of a workers compensation case, providing guidance and counsel through effective communication, medical review, and negotiating, settling, and litigating cases, if necessary.

Qualifications:

• Law Degree required
• The candidate selected for this position must have excellent organization and time management skills and must be accustomed to working in a fast-paced environment.
• 2+ years of demonstrated abilities in a role relating to elder and labor laws
• Ability to sit for the Washington State bar (prior admission not required)

Min Salary: USD $70,000.00/Yr. Max Salary: USD $80,000.00/Yr
