QUALIFICATIONS

  • 7 - 8 years overall experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Advertising, or other related field
  • Experience in creative, strategy, visual design, brand, advertising and marketing, experience working in agencies or in-house creative studios a bonus
  • 7 - 8 years of experience working across various channels, formats & mediums with expert technical proficiency in relevant software tools & platforms and using tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, etc.
  • Strong online portfolio showcasing range of creative work, versatility & experience (please provide link)
  • Thorough understanding of branding, advertising, marketing and consumer behavior to translate strategic insights into compelling creative solutions
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of articulating ideas & rationale persuasively while building strong relationships with teammembers at all-levels within the organization
  • Successful working in dynamic and fast-paced environments, agile, responsive to change, flexible – can easily adapt & pivot quickly & effectively, capable of switching between different responsibilities, tasks, or roles seamlessly, demonstrating a wide range of skills and capabilities
  • Embraces and values new ideas and perspectives, thrives working within a highly collaborative, integrated, cross-functional team
  • Ability to organize tasks efficiently, manage time effectively and independently manage workload
    $110,000 - $140,000 a year
    In addition to semi-monthly salary payments, this position is also eligible for an annual incentive bonus based on individual and company performance. Yearly incentive bonus target 20% of base salary

THE ROLE

We’re looking for an experienced, unconventional and versatile Associate Creative Director to join our dynamic in-house creative team. Experts in Creative & Brand strategy, we are an agile, innovative and highly collaborative team, integrated within focused, cross-functional teams delivering impactful, industry-leading solutions.
The Creative team is propelled by our shared desire to be catalysts & thought leaders for authentic originality, transformative thinking, ongoing evolution and intentionality to ensure strategic, hardworking creative, visual brand cohesion and a best-in-class customer experience while continuously seeking opportunities for differentiation within the marketplace, always challenging the status-quo and actively driving progress within a thriving culture of creativity.
The Associate Creative Director will play a pivotal role in guiding creative ideation, inspiring new thinking and pushing boundaries to generate fresh ideas and concepts that are not only visually compelling, but strategically aligned to our overall marketing objectives and customer experience principles – ease, flexibility and guidance. They must have a broad expertise across disciplines and a versatile skillset with expert technical proficiency and ability to guide other creatives and collaborate with agency partners, while also demonstrating effective conceptualizing & execution of their own work.
The Associate Creative Director will report directly to the Executive Creative Director and will work side-by-side with our team of experienced senior creatives, marketing experts, copywriters and product designers.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Bring fresh perspective, strategic thinking, creative and brand best practices and an innovative and transformative approach to marketing and positioning our brand and products.
  • Become integrated within cross-functional working teams to problem-solve and find approaches that balance creative vision and brand strategy with practical considerations & alignment to overall marketing objectives to deliver industry-leading solutions that are focused on impact.
  • Foster & inspire an environment of close-collaboration & disruption to impactfully contribute towards continuously evolving and elevating the brand.
  • Work closely with partners to understand results and leverage analytics to measure success, identify areas of opportunity & support decision making.
  • Independently execute & oversee multiple projects simultaneously, ensure that projects stay on track and are delivered on time and within scope, while also being resourceful, maintaining high standards of quality and continuously looking for ways to level-up creative – demonstrating vision through execution and leading by example.
  • Uphold the standards of the team with a keen eye for detail and paying attention overall execution when conducting thorough reviews and providing constructive feedback to ensure that deliverables exceed expectations and meet all requirements.
  • Proactively explore unconventional solutions, looking at problems from new angles & solution-driven when navigating challenges & problem solving
  • Stay up-to-date with the competitive landscape, industry trends and advancements, emerging technologies and best practices to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Identify tools, plug-ins, software, resources, etc. that would enhance our efficiency and be able to make and present a case for the investment.
  • Develop systems, shared resources, libraries, templates, components, strategic playbooks, guidelines and documentation for efficiency & visual brand cohesion.
