JOB OVERVIEW

The TerraCycle Marketing team is looking for a detail-oriented, energetic early-career marketer, who’s looking to build skills in digital marketing. The role is focused on developing and implementing email, website and social media communications, collaborating with the ANZ marketing team to enhance the user experience and help grow the TerraCycle recycling community.
This is a unique role for a resourceful and driven early-career marketing professional who enjoys collaborating with a small but diverse team to develop, execute and manage digital marketing initiatives.
Our office environment is fast-paced, and every day is different. You’ll report directly to our ANZ Marketing Manager and contribute to marketing campaign design and development discussions.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 1-3 years of experience in digital marketing or advertising (including internships)
  • Strong interest in understanding website analytics tools and optimization techniques (Google Adwords, Google Analytics, SEO, etc.)
  • Some experience in CRM and web content management platforms would be highly desired
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Great organizational and time management skills
  • Strong attention to detail and produce accurate outcomes in accordance with brand guidelines
  • Collaborative and creative problem-solving skills
  • Ability to juggle multiple responsibilities in a dynamic work environment
  • Ability to work independently and contribute to a team as required

Responsibilities:

  • Email Marketing:
  • Develop and execute email marketing campaigns, including program updates, promotional offers, and automated email sequences.
  • Segment email lists based on user behavior and demographics to ensure targeted messaging.
  • Monitor and analyze email campaign performance metrics (open rates, click-through rates, conversions) and report on results.
  • Optimize email campaigns for deliverability and engagement using A/B testing and other best practices, working with the global CRM team.
  • Website Maintenance & Updates:
  • Assist in maintaining website content, including text, images, and multimedia elements.
  • Coordinate with the Marketing Manager to implement website changes and improvements.
  • Ensure website content is current, accurate, and aligned with TerraCycle’s branding and marketing strategies.
  • Monitor website performance and user experience, providing recommendations for enhancements.
  • Digital Engagement:
  • Engage with the online community across social media platforms and other digital channels, by publishing and monitoring the performance of high quality content, in line with TC Brand Guidelines
  • Support in onboarding new recycling collection points, particularly public drop-off points
  • Foster positive relationships with customers and build brand loyalty.
  • Monitor community feedback and report on trends and insights.
  • Assist in creating and implementing community engagement strategies and campaigns.
