POSITION: ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR, ANALYTICS-CREDIT CARDS

Location: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid)
We are currently seeking a Associate Director for our Credit Card Analytics team in Charlotte, NC to help grow our new credit card business. In this critical role, the select individual will build the analytics team for the newly launched credit card business. This leader will be responsible for credit card originations, marketing analytics, and partner management.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree (Graduate Preferred) in a quantitative discipline, such as Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Business Management, or Computer Science is preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in a data driven analytics environment; consumer lending preferred; PHD degrees may offset experience.
  • 6+ years of experience at a financial institution in management or senior analytics
  • Advanced analytical skillset using tools such as SQL, Excel skills required; experience with multiple types of relational databases and/or querying languages is a plus such as Hive, Python, Oracle desired
  • Innovative and capable of developing a highly analytical approach to solving problems
  • Experience driving projects and presenting to senior management on results and ideas

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver new acquisitions growth while ensuring profitability hurdles are met
  • Develop targeting strategy across all channels (i.e., Direct Mail, Affiliates) to deliver new account growth while reducing cost of acquisitions
  • Manage third party partner relations with affiliate partners
  • Create a pipeline of new channels for new account bookings
  • Create channel & segment level NPV valuations
  • Partner with Underwriting and Product teams to optimize booking rates
  • Partner with internal teams to inform and structure card acquisition related data-science models
  • Design & manage ongoing product and creative tests
  • Partner with Technology, Product and Design teams to improve customer experience in the application funnel
  • Build and develop a team of analysts supporting the long-term card product growth
