ABOUT THE ROLE:

Grade Level (for internal use): 12
The Team: Within S&P Global’s Mobility division, the Supply Chain, Technology & Aftermarket team is responsible for building, maintaining, and evolving our insights and data assets that provide our client base with intelligence on these critical areas of the automotive value chain. Whilst the subject matter of the team straddles fifteen topical supply chain areas, this role will encompass a global research remit in our Charging domain with broad project management and people leadership responsibility.
The Impact: Electrification is fundamental to the current and future transition of the automotive industry. The charging of electric vehicles, in terms of its speed, availability and user journey, remains one of the foremost remaining hurdles to mass market adoption. As we assist our client base in successfully navigating these challenges, we are looking for an industry thought leader with strong project management credentials to support our product development activities, conduct research and build objective perspectives around the evolution of the charging landscape. This will help maintain our growth trajectory and further embed us as the industry partner of choice for objective insight on critical electric vehicle supply chain and technology topics, such as electric vehicle charging.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Project manage new charging-related forecast products (datasets, analytics, trackers, analysis) to market, liaising with key internal stakeholders to drive front-end and back-end platform development. Deliver to time and to budget. This project management responsibility may extend to broader electrification-related projects in the future.
Liaise with an internal subject matter expert to develop a charging research schedule. Lead the team in performing this research, scrutinizing and refining output to ensure the creation of industry-leading insights
Provide industry thought leadership from your experience at the forefront of the evolving charging ecosystem.
Perform deep research leveraging your established, extensive contact network.
Represent the business at industry events, presenting with confidence and conviction to reinforce our value preposition, whilst displaying comfort in networking environments to help build our brand and your network
Be comfortable in outlining the content, methodology and value preposition of our charging research to existing and prospective clients, with a focus on German-speaking personae.
