Description:
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Relevant degree with excellent academic results from a reputable university.
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. Fluency in Mandarin or Malay would be an added advantage, as the incumbent will be working with Chinese and Southeast Asian clients.
- At least five years of consulting, equity research, M&A/strategy, or similar experience.
- Strong analytical skills and business analysis.
- Strong knowledge of finance and accounting
- Fast learner and ability to work independently.
- Ability to perform well under pressure and produce deliverables in a timely manner.
- Previous experience or coverage of other Southeast Asian country welcomed but not essential.
- Proven track record in deal execution, including managing various workstreams and coordinating with different stakeholders.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Produce analysis on capital market trends in Southeast Asia and identify potential opportunities.
- Work with team members to prepare and deliver presentations in deal origination and fund raising.
- Develop and maintain relationships with buy side, financial sponsors, and companies.
- Support the team in execution of investment banking transactions such as initial public offerings, ECM transactions, M&A and other corporate advisory engagements for listed and unlisted clients.
- Perform in-depth financial analysis and modelling.
- Support internal business reporting.
