Associate Director Europe Commercial Analytics & Insights – Solid Tumor Oncology will be integral in ensuring the successful expansion of BeiGene’s commercial portfolio in to Solid Tumor oncology by contributing to market insights, data driven strategy and analytics solutions.. This newly created position will be based in Switzerland.

Essential Functions of the job:

  • Communicate insights that allow colleagues to better understand the market opportunities, including the preparation of primary and secondary market research and tracking the competitive landscape.
  • Provide line of sight in to commercial performance, understand the business drivers and barriers and identify opportunities for further achievement.
  • Collate and synthesize insights that inform the business forecasting process to ensure excellence in guiding future business expectations, assessing impact in to the market, and identifying course-correcting activities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and countries to get an in-depth understanding of their business needs and objectives and identify advanced analytics use cases to deliver innovation for business impact
  • Enhance the European Centre of Excellence for analytics and insights that can support the European countries to launch effectively and improve brand performance
  • Co-develop solutions to improve commercial processes with COBA Shared Services.
  • Forge strong team-oriented working relationships with key constituencies of the Global Team: in particular with global/US counterparts, COBA Shared Services, EU functional leads and Country Commercial Leads.

Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree in business, informatics, economics, biological or medical sciences required. MBA and/or post graduate preferred. At least 7 years of industry experience.
  • Min 5 years’ work experience in a Commercial/Marketing support role in the pharmaceutical/biotechnology industries or within an advertising agency (focus on pharmaceutical/biotechnology).
  • Pragmatic, yet creative and innovative. Lead while “rolling up your sleeves” to get it done
  • Able to combine strategic thinking with the ability to execute to achieve operational objectives
  • Excels in a fast-paced, results-driven, highly accountable environment, often with a high degree of ambiguity
  • A connector, building relationships and partnering across the organization (geographies, functions and levels) to achieve the company goals
  • Curiosity, problem solving skills, business acumen, industry knowledge and project management skills
  • Attention to detail and technical data analytics / quantitative skills an advantage
  • Biotech or pharmaceutical marketplace launch experience in solid tumor oncology
  • Fluent in English; other languages advantageous.

Computer Skills: PC, including Advanced MS Office Suite,
SQL, Power BI or other analytics/data visualisation software an advantage
Travel: 10-20%
