Competencies & Requirements

  • A qualified accountant with a comprehensive knowledge of costing and financial analysis, accounting principles, and internal controls. ACA, ACMA, ACCA, CPA with +8years PQE.
  • Develops strong, effective work relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate ideas and persuade others to accomplish challenging goals and objectives.
  • Builds and maintains a network of key individuals necessary for obtaining and disseminating information critical to the operation of the External Manufacturing Business Unit.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with and manage cross functional teams in a complex, changing environment to deliver value-added results from an overall corporate perspective.
  • Exhibits strong analytical and problem-solving skills in the execution of job responsibilities.
  • Travel may be required approximately 4 times a year.

Responsibilities:

Bristol Myers Squibb External Manufacturing is currently seeking to recruit on a permanent contract Associate Director, Finance Biologics and Sterile External Manufacturing, Reporting directly to the Finance Director for External Manufacturing, this role will involve considerable interaction with cross functional colleagues both in the US and Europe.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor and develop the Biologics and Sterile External manufacturing finance team.
  • Business Partner to VP Biologics and Sterile External Manufacturing
  • Finance Member of the Biologics and Sterile Leadership team providing financial insights and contributing to strategic decision making.
  • Oversee and present Budget and projection cycles.
  • Identify financial risk and quantify operational risk in the Business units.
  • Change agent working with FD to ensure robust finance processes and support for the BU
  • Ensure SOX control compliance.
  • Facilitate and support internal/External Audits as required.
