ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR, FINANCIAL CONTROLLER, ONGOING, SYDNEY

This role is a salary Grade 11/12, with the base salary for this role starting at $ 139,787 - $ 161,663 base plus superannuation, commensurate with experience.

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as the Associate Director, Financial Controller to manage and control the financial and accounting services for INSW, ensuring accurate, efficient and timely delivery, whilst complying with relevant statutory accounting, taxation and Treasury guidelines, associated accounting standards and the INSW’s policies and procedures.

Some of the key accountabilities for the role include:

• Lead the preparation of INSW’s statutory reports as well as financial reporting requirements to enable completion of the Annual Report.
• Collaborate with NSW Treasury to ensure compliance with Treasury directions and statutory auditing and reporting requirements.
• Lead the financial relationship with the outsourced financial service provider to ensure compliance with all agreements and SLAs.
• Manage complex briefing notes and reports on issues relating to financial accounting and reporting.
• Develop and deliver appropriate and compliant systems, standards and policies and ensure internal financial and technical controls are working effectively to implement program strategies and to support the objectives of INSW.
