What You’ll Do:
Principal is looking for an Associate Director, Fund Programs and Oversight. In this role, you’ll provide operational support for PGI sponsored commingled fund platforms. Your key focus will be on fund operations activities.

Here are additional examples of the types of things you’ll do:

  • Facilitating projects across multiple teams with global matrix reporting
  • Providing oversight of fund programs, such as Securities Lending and Cash Management
  • Overseeing vendors providing Fund Administration and other services
  • Data stewardship
  • Board reporting
  • Informal leadership
  • Following established procedures in a timely & accurate manner
  • Addressing complex issues
  • Identifying & implementing process improvements

Who You Are:

We are looking for someone with:

  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent required.
  • 8+ years of work experience in Fund operations related role or related field required.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of investment products & services required.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, time management and communication skills required.
  • Must be detailed oriented, able to maintain a high degree of accuracy, meet established deadlines, and able to handle multiple tasks & prioritize effectively.
  • Analytical, problem solving, time management, project management, decision making, interpersonal, and communication skills required.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Products required.
  • Able to work across teams, influence others, effectively lead group discussions, manage projects, & drive results.
  • Able to drive & facilitate change across teams, while building strong working relationships.
  • Able to attend to the day-to-day details while maintaining a strategic & analytical focus on the big picture.

Successful candidate will have the following:

  • Client service orientation, the ability to work across teams & influence others, the ability to work under pressure, and produce accurate and timely information with limited supervision.
  • Able to able handle multiple tasks / projects, prioritize effectively and be flexible as business needs change.
  • Able to effectively lead group discussions and take accurate notes and assign actions.
  • Able to produce reports and other written work to a high standard of presentation.
  • Excel skills

Salary Range Information: Salary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Salary Range: $95200 - $182400 / year Time Off Program: Flexible Time Off (FTO) is provided to salaried (exempt) employees and provides the opportunity to take time away from the office with pay for vacation, personal or short-term illness.
