About this opportunity
Are you an experienced markets or Treasury professional looking for your next opportunity?
We’re looking for talented and enthusiastic individuals to join our Group Treasury team at Associate Director level.
You’ll be joining a diverse team, with scope to learn, develop and grow. With significant opportunities for visibility to senior management, you’ll build your network across the organisation whilst taking a lead role in high profile work for the Group. This is a great role for an individual who thrives in thought leadership, influencing senior colleagues, and joining the dots across multiple areas of activity.

Below are some examples of the associate director roles in the team and we would love to hear from you if you are interested in any of these or more broadly in other areas of the team:

  • Senior Issuance, Capital Structuring and Planning: This role is in our capital markets Treasury team looking at the optimising of our funding (senior unsecured, covered) and capital (Equity, AT1 and Tier 2) stacks, including issuance and implementing strategic transactions to repurchase debt and equity.
  • Non-bank entity treasury activities: This role involves managing funding, liquidity and market risk of the LBG holding company and other non-bank entities in the Group, working alongside our shared service teams.
  • Debt IR: This role sits within the team that is responsible for the group’s engagement with debt investors, including the strategy and content shared with debt investors.
  • Credit Ratings: This role involves engaging with Moody’s, S&P, and Fitch to manage the assigned credit ratings for all Group legal entities. To do this, you’ll need to collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary information and support all credit and ESG rating activities.
  • Transaction Management: This role involves being responsible for the processes associated with secured, unsecured, and MM issuance. Activities include being responsible for programmes and debt disclosure, bond listing obligations and coordinating with third parties including agents, dealers, auditors, and external counsel.
  • Recovery and Resolution: Planning for the Group is at the heart of the preparations to face significant stress or ultimately, be prepared if we were ever facing the likelihood of failure.
