This position is a critical role within the Student Affairs Division. This position will be an essential/critical role during any inclement weather or other catastrophic events.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Masters degree with four years experience; Bachelor’s degree with 6 years experience

Responsibilities:

Preparing the residence halls for a smooth transition for students moving in and out is crucial as rooms are inspected for cleanliness, safety, damage etc. Work collaboratively with all housing staff to ensure a smooth process for move-in and move-out in all residence halls. Work with camps during the summer to meet housing needs for faculty, staff, athletics, and other programs.
Overseeing key control for all housing areas on campus. Replacement of keys, change of locks, and issuance of keys will be accomplished by working with Facilities. Working with Facilities on maintenance needs is also crucial for this position. Handling/charging all damage occurring in the residence halls will be overseen by this person.
Utilizing different software systems such as eRez & Banner to make housing assignments and changes to housing assignments
Works closely with students and parents to meet housing needs and provide a safe and secure place for students to live.
Work with the entire Division of Student Affairs to be a part of a team and participate as a team member. When “all hands-on deck” is called for no matter the reason this person will be there.
Works with others within the Division of Student Affairs but most closely with Housing Area Coordinators, Resident Advisors, the Director of Housing & Residential Life, and the Dean of Students.
