Description:

As part of the North America Oncology Commercial Team, will serve as the Business Operations support for the Oncology Business Unit (OBU) and will be the execution lead for the Business Unit.
Reporting to the Oncology Commercial Performance and Operations Lead, the Associate Director (AD) of Commercial Execution will play a leadership role driving clear understanding of product strategy and execution. Responsible for the continuous development of the Oncology Field Commercial teams and improving the systems that enable executional excellence. This role will be critical to deliver insights for executional improvement and will be a central connecter between OBU functions and Ipsen operational partners, e.g., Training, CRM, Marketing Excellence and Field Execution Excellence.

KNOWLEDGE, ABILITIES & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred
  • Minimum 5-7 years of pharmaceutical or biotechnology experience and having a broad knowledge of Sales/ Marketing/ Finance is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills along with the ability to influence others.
  • Ability to work with multiple cross-functional teams and successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated consistent track record of success in project management and producing results as a team and/or individual contributor.
  • Comfort working within an environment of strict compliance with appropriate regulatory guidelines to successfully design and execute tactics, programs and tools that achieve business objectives.
  • Willingness/ability to travel domestically.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for Oncology Training excellence, in partnership with Ipsen Oncology Trainer to:
  • Optimize onboarding process for new OBU hires.
  • Review and refine product training for Oncology portfolio as needed.
  • Create and execute continuous product training curriculum for entire OBU Commercial team.
  • Develop market landscape training plan for relevant disease states for OBU.
  • Work with cross-functional partners to provide monthly clinical training for OBU.
  • Lead OBU Field Trainer team. Develop meeting cadence and work with team to develop agendas. Bring insights and action items back to OBU leadership and Training.
  • Partner with Brand Marketing teams to deliver clear market position and product messaging to customer-facing teams based on Brand strategy.
  • Develop and deliver against Veeva CRM roadmap for Oncology in partnership with Ipsen CRM Lead.
  • Deliver Ipsen competency/selling model for Oncology in partnership with Ipsen Learning and Development.
  • Analyze coaching impact of field coaching reports (FCR) across OBU Field Commercial. Develop insights based on FCRs.
  • Deploy coaching training for Regional Business Directors (RBDs) related to the Ipsen Competency model in partnership with Learning & Development.
  • Identify opportunities for OBU Sales and Marketing tactical execution through monitoring of peer activity.
  • Build and deploy field communication platform, including memos, field best practice sharing, etc.
  • Create cross-functional collaboration excellence playbook for OBU.
  • Engage with Commercial Oncology Leadership team to ensure nimble strategic adjustments as needed.
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with all key stakeholders internal and external, BU and otherwise.
  • Comply with all laws, regulations and policies that govern the conduct of Ipsen U.S. staff.
