Responsibilities:

THE TEAM, ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

The NAB Securitisation Origination team continues to be the market leader for Securitisation (Arranger and Joint Lead Manager role) in Australia and was rated # 1 for Debt Securities Origination and Relationship Strength Index & Overall Service Quality – Debt Securities Origination in the Peter Lee Awards. We were also awarded Australian Securitisation House of the Year in 2023 Kanganews Awards (12 years running).
The Senior Associate or Associate Director role involves the identification, structuring and execution of complex transactions, predominantly across RMBS, ABS, and trade receivables. The role also involves the ongoing management of a portfolio of existing assets whilst working collaboratively with other areas of the bank to enhance cross sell and to maximise shareholder value.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Identification, structuring and execution of new transactions in the securitisation product in Australia. The transactions will be a mix of capital markets executions, as well as balance sheet warehousing and private placements structuring and execution.
  • Client engagement and identification of potential opportunities.
  • Managing discussions with various internal and external stakeholders
  • Liaise with other areas of Capital Financing, FICC Markets and Global IB to take advantage of cross sell opportunities.
  • To actively promote and market the business internally and externally.
  • Preparation of all requisite internal reporting accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Coaching, monitoring, supervision of junior team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to perform their role and to develop their skill set.
