DESCRIPTION OVERVIEW
The role is responsible for defining and implementing best practices, service level agreements (SLAs), and key performance indicators (KPIs) with our 3PL Warehouse providers.
The successful candidate will ensure our warehouse network operates at peak efficiency, aligns with market benchmarks, and continually improves operational processes.
Additionally, this role will collaborate closely with the Supply Planning team to design and optimize our warehouse network to support our business objectives.
We offer a hybrid working pattern (3 days per week working onsite, 2 days per week working remotely).
This role reports to CSCI Logistics Director, key aspects of the role include:
- Leading shipment compliance process to Perrigo standard
- Building and maintaining Peer Relationships – Logistics Operational Mgr., Trade & Compliance Mgr., Market SC Leads, Manufacturing Ops Mgrs., Central Organisation Planning Team, Logistics Project and Analyst Leads and also external partners
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in warehouse management, supply chain operations, or logistics, including significant experience in a strategic leadership role.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategic SLAs, KPIs, and best practices in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with a proven track record of leveraging data and metrics to drive decision-making and operational improvements.
- Advanced project management skills, with experience in leading large-scale projects and cross-functional teams.
- Excellent negotiation skills and experience in managing relationships with external vendors and service providers.
- Comprehensive knowledge of supply chain management software, warehouse management systems, and the latest industry technologies.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead, motivate, and inspire teams.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and complex environment.
Responsibilities:
SCOPE OF THE ROLE
- Strategize, develop, and enforce clear SLAs and KPIs for third-party logistics and warehouse providers, ensuring alignment with market benchmarks and organizational goals.
- Lead the establishment and ongoing enhancement of best practices and operational solutions, driving operational excellence and service quality across the warehouse network.
- Spearhead continuous improvement and innovation initiatives, focusing on scalability, cost-efficiency, and service optimization within the warehouse operations.
- Collaborate with the Supply Planning team to strategically design and optimize the warehouse network to meet future business demands and supply chain requirements.
- Conduct comprehensive performance analysis of the warehouse operations, leveraging data and metrics to inform strategic decisions and drive operational improvements.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and adherence to company policies across all warehouse activities, fostering a culture of safety and efficiency.
- Negotiate and manage contracts with third-party vendors and service providers, establishing strong partnerships and ensuring performance standards are consistently met.
- Lead and manage significant projects to enhance warehouse infrastructure, technology integration, and overall functionality, ensuring they meet strategic business objectives.
- Provide strategic leadership and direction to the warehouse management teams, promoting an environment of teamwork, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Develop and oversee the warehouse network operations budget, ensuring resources are allocated effectively to support business objectives and operational needs.
