The Colliers Engineering and Design team specialises in civil, infrastructure, water engineering, town planning and urban design. Key services provided to developers in this service line include site assessment and due diligence, planning approvals and engineering design through to completion of construction.
Job Description
We are seeking to appoint an Associate Director, Urban Design in our Brisbane office. This is a newly created position reporting to our Director, Planning. The role will have hands on involvement managing complex / strategic projects, interpreting both the technical and commercial elements of challenging situations and developing innovative design solutions that add values to our clients.

Specifically:

  • Conducting site investigations, site issues analysis and due diligence plans, in ways that develop high value solutions for projects.
  • Deliver a range of complex and large-scale master planning and urban design projects in both hand sketch and digital formats.
  • Generate new business that contributes to sustainable profit and growth within the Planning and Urban Design business unit.

Qualifications

  • A degree in urban design, architecture, town planning or landscape architecture (or equivalent).
  • Proficient skills in the use of the Adobe Creative Suite (primarily Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign)
  • Knowledge and understanding in the use and application of 3D modelling programs (SketchUp and Lumion experience preferred)
