Description:

The YMCA of Central Texas is seeking an Associate Executive Director in the Child Development Center to support the mission, purpose, and goals of the YMCA.
The CDC Associate Executive Director is responsible for the successful implementation and completion of the following tasks:

SKILLS/ REQUIREMENTS:

  • Prefer a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Education, Child Development, a related field or equivalent
  • YMCA Team Leader Certification preferred
  • Effective budgetary and programmatic experience
  • Ability to attract, maintain, lead and motivate quality staff and volunteer leadership
  • Enthusiasm, high energy and exceptional human relations and motivational skills
  • Model the YMCA core values: Caring, Honesty, Respect and Responsibility
  • Must possess a valid Texas Driver’s License and show proof of insurability. Must maintain a driving record that is satisfactory with the YMCA standards
  • Must be CPR and First Aid certified
  • Must be able to pass background and drug screening
    Pay Rate: $70,000 to $80,000/year

Our organization is home to the largest school age child care provider in Williamson County as well as health and fitness programs that improve the quality of life for over 45,000 members ranging from preschool through senior citizen.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure quality programming for licensed childcare curriculum through assessment scores and surveys;
  • Reach CDC student enrollment goals;
  • Assist and support the District Executive Director and the Senior Vice President in the successful creation and implementation of potential CDC expansion efforts, oversite of district Pre-K campuses, after school program, and summer camp;
  • Meet or exceed all CDC revenue goals and net operating cost ratios;
  • Support Summer Camp enrollment goals and operating cost ratios;
  • Ensure that proper staffing ratios are met and maintained, and training levels exceed licensing and TRS requirements.
