• Scrutinize and maintain the accuracy of the journalist and media outlet database in compliance with Data Protection laws.
• Build, update, and validate journalist and media outlet profiles.
• Execute lead generation activities accurately and competently to facilitate relevant database updates.
• Cultivate an understanding of the journalist and media landscape, initially focusing on the Asia Pacific region.
• Update, enrich, and verify the database on both ad-hoc and formal bases.
• Adhere consistently to Telum Media’s data policies and methodologies.
• Develop editorial skills and abilities necessary for meaningful engagement with journalists to enhance Telum’s content offering.
• Participate in meetings alongside senior colleagues to enhance skills and confidence in engaging with journalists and/or hosting journalist meetings.

What we’re looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in relevant fields
• Knowledge of or a willingness to learn about the local media industry
• Determined, self-motivated, with a proactive attitude to learning
• Optimistic and energetic, enjoys working in a Team environment
• Enthusiastic about maintaining standards and great attention to detail
• Proven ability to multi-task and work to deadlines
• Excellent standard written and spoken English
• Excellent data entry and research skills
• Computer literate [MS Office]
• Good communication skills
