A&M Financial Services Industry ("FSI") is a multinational division within the firm that works with leading financial services institutions across Europe and the USA and revolves around four core areas of expertise: M&A, Performance Improvement, Credit and Real Estate Advisory, Bank Restructuring and Regulatory Advisory.
Within A&M’s FSI, the M&A Financial Institutions Group (FIG) team advises a wide range of clients, from traditional players (Banks, Insurers, Asset and Wealth Managers) to FinTechs and Specialty Finance Institutions as well as Private Equity firms.
Currently we are looking for an Associate who will be part of an international team.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Relevant academic background in engineering or finance
  • Action-oriented self-starter with strong analytical skills
  • Methodical and logical mindset to problem solving, an effective approach to time management and the ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Understanding of an M&A process and its deliverables
  • Fluent business level English & Spanish is essential. Additional European language skills including French, Dutch, German or Italian are highly desirable

Responsibilities:

  • Performing strategic and financial analyses of sectors and / or companies.
  • Assisting with the preparation of marketing and transaction materials.
  • Running valuations.
  • Attending team discussions, where you may be asked to deliver parts of a presentation.
  • The candidate will be part of a growing team and will play a critical role within day-to-day origination efforts and execution of challenging and visible M&A transactions.
