Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for an Associate Flight Line Ship Side Specialist (Level 2) to support the 787 Program Boeing South Carolina Delivery Center Operations Team based out of North Charleston, South Carolina.
This position will provide critical production support to the Delivery Center including improving production efficiency, safety and optimizing product quality.
Position Responsibilities:
- Assist with activities across multiple functions to coordinate resolution of emergent issues in support of specific operations
- Conducts assessments of processes and practices for comparison to applicable standards and criteria
- Provides limited feedback on assessment results
- Support the teammates in implementation of strategies and plans
- Works under general supervision
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
- Ability to work any shift, overtime, holidays and weekends
- 1+ years of experience with operations analysis
- 1+ years of experience with root cause analysis
- 1+ years of manufacturing experience
- 1+ years of experience using Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
- Proficient in using CMES software
- Proficient in REDARS, PSDS, and BAC specifications
- 2+ years of experience in a supportive LSCC role
- 1+ year of flight line operations experience
- 3+ years of experience in the aerospace industry
- 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment working with Shipside Action Tracker (SAT)
TYPICAL EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 3 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+1 years’ related work experience , 7 years’ related work experience, etc.).
