Responsibilities:

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

The Associate General Counsel seeks an experienced healthcare business attorney with significant transactional experience. The Associate General Counsel will represent ProHealth Care on challenging matters confronting one of the nation’s premier academic medical centers in a rapidly changing healthcare delivery environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Advises on a broad spectrum of healthcare partnership and vendor opportunities, including contract review, negotiation, and counseling.
  • Provide legal analysis and advice concerning health care regulatory compliance, physician-hospital relationships, and a wide variety of healthcare business and operational issues, including patient care matters.
  • Works with minimal supervision, works well on a team, demonstrates excellent communication, and develops new areas of sub-specialty as needs may arise.
  • Utilizes excellent judgment, client counseling, multi-tasking, and decision-making skills.
  • Duties may also include participation on health care committees as the legal advisor.
  • Performs related responsibilities as required.
