Description:
Job Description and Duties
Serve as support for the instructional materials subject matter adoptions using the California Education Code sections 60040–60048 and the State Board of Education guidelines as well as support the Clearinghouse for Specialized Media and Technology (CSMT) Production Center with ordering and maintaining instructional materials databases.
Provide analytical support for all curriculum frameworks, content standards, and instructional materials adoptions processes, including, but not limited to, ensuring the California Department of Education (CDE) receives final versions of all adopted instructional materials.
Assist with instructional materials adoptions and CSMT Production Center tasks.
Write and prepare memos, letters, emails, and other CDE correspondence as necessary; prepare written analyses and recommendations for management; draft correspondence for the signature of managers; prepare written responses to letters and other inquiries; draft correspondence for the signature of higher managers.
Respond to email and telephone inquiries and answer via phone or written correspondence requests for information on subject area adoptions, curriculum frameworks, social compliance, and other instructional materials issues.

Working Conditions
This position is headquartered in Sacramento and may be eligible for a hybrid telework schedule for eligible applicants residing in California. A hybrid telework schedule includes working remotely and physically reporting to the office.
Telework refers to all working days at approved alternate work location.
