Description:
The Associate Governmental Program Analyst (AGPA) in the Contract Oversight Unit of the Pharmacy Operations and Data Branch, Pharmacy Benefits Division (PBD), independently serves as a representative of pharmacy benefits, Prior Authorizations (PAs) and drug rebate programs in support of contract implementation requirements and ongoing oversight of the pharmacy services vendor. The AGPA provides oversight of program work efforts, contributes and participates in the development of various contract artifacts, performs ongoing contract management tasks, and serves as a liaison for program processes.
The AGPA will perform ongoing contract management tasks such as, review and analyze invoices from the contractor and make recommendations to management. Maintain invoicing logs and update databases. Manage weekly Checkwrite process, daily load updates, invoice report review, and prepare accounting documents. Maintain, review and upload documents. Review and understand assigned operational areas of contract. Assist in the development of new contract language, contract amendments, and/or Request for Information (RFI) resulting from new state/federal regulatory requirements and/or department’s Contract Management Unit. Track and perform assessments of contractor performance. Evaluate all deliverables and performance metrics to determine if the contractor is in compliance with their contract requirements. Where deficiencies are identified, determine the severity of the deficiency(s) and the appropriate corrective action needed and monitor any resulting corrective action plan(s) submitted by the contractor. Prepare legislatively mandated reports for public posting. Independently research, analyze, and monitor pharmacy services contractors and deliverables.
