Job Description and Duties
This position supports the California Department of Public Health’s (CDPH) mission and strategic plan by serving as the main contract analyst in the Director’s Office (DO), processing contracts in compliance with Federal, State, FI$Cal and Departmental contracting requirements and regulations. The incumbent handles the complex solicitation, development, and preparation of contract agreements, from start to finish, and other solicitation documents enabling CDPH to provide critical and unique services to the people of California. The Associate Governmental Program Analyst (AGPA) will independently perform the more responsible, varied, and complex technical analysis and coordination for tracking budgets and expenditures utilizing Financial Information Systems for California (FI$Cal) reports and the Admin Network - Contracts and Purchasing System (CAPS), and provide planning and guidance to the DO operations team.
The incumbent works under the direction of the Staff Services Manager II in the Director’s Office.
