Description:

The Associate Governmental Program Analyst (AGPA) serves as a Program Coordinator in the Office of Professional Development & Engagement (OPDE), Accreditation and Performance Management Unit (APMU). The AGPA independently performs the more responsible, varied, and complex technical analytical assignments related to CDPH Public Health Accreditation Board (PHAB) accreditation, Public Health Ethics Committee, Public Health Accreditation (PHA) program, which provides support for Local Health Jurisdiction (LHJ) accreditation, and Organizational Performance management/Results Based Accountability (RBA).
Remote/hybrid work is available for this position, in accordance with CDPH’s Telework Policy and Procedures. Employees may be required to travel periodically to the East End Complex in Downtown Sacramento for work-related activities.

Under the direction of the OPDE Deputy Director, the duties support CDPH’s Public Health Accreditation and organizational performance management programs and services.   • Knowledge and experience in a Public Health organization.
  • Knowledge and experience with organizational performance management systems.
  • Knowledge and experience conducting outreach, including meeting planning and management, developing communications, and coordinating training and events.
  • Knowledge and experience with providing training and instruction using online tools such as Microsoft Teams or Zoom.
