Description:

The Associate Governmental Program Analyst (AGPA) serves as the Human Resources Coordinator and independently performs the more responsible, varied, and complex technical analytical assignments in the Office of Professional Development & Engagement (OPDE), Administrative Operations Unit (AOU). The AGPA is responsible for activities related to OPDE personnel, hiring, onboarding, attendance, and timekeeping; serves as a Coordinator for the Common Law Employee (CLE) Program and facilitates employer and employee CLE determinations for non-civil service personnel; serves as a Telework Liaison and is responsible for coordinating all activities related to the CDPH Telework Program.

All employees who telework are required to be California residents in accordance with Government Code 14200, and may be required to report to a CDPH office, when needed. Candidates who reside outside of the state of California may be interviewed; however, the selected candidate must have a primary residency in the state of California prior to appointment (and continue to maintain California residency) as a condition of employment.
