Description:
METROPOLITAN STATE HOSPITAL- Located in Norwalk, Los Angeles County
DSH- Metropolitan State Hospital, Human Resources Department is currently accepting applications for Associate Governmental Program Analyst, Full Time permanent in the Return-to-Work Unit Hours 8:00am to 4:30pm.
The successful candidate will report under the general direction of the Staff Services Manager I, performs a wide variety of analytical staff services assignments such as, program evaluation and planning; policy analysis and formulation; systems development; system monitoring, personnel analysis as it pertains to workers compensation and other duties assigned. Responsible for all aspects of litigated and non-litigated worker’s compensation claims. Provides assistance to staff with limited duties, claims, returning to work and may provide new employee orientation training.
The successful candidate will be required to maintain a professional appearance and demeanor even while under pressure and multiple deadlines. The incumbent must also possess self-starting abilities, excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills, have problem solving, and organizational and processing abilities. The incumbent must also be dependable in order to manage a heavy workload and have experience in worker’s compensation.
