Description:

Under the direction of the Deputy District Director, the Associate Governmental Program Analyst in this position provides support to the District 12 Director. The incumbent is responsible for demonstrating clear and concise verbal and written communication and overseeing coordination of the District Director’s office, including managing the District Director’s schedule (meetings, travel, briefings, etc.). The incumbent is responsible for handling highly sensitive issues, which requires the incumbent to exercise initiative and must maintain a high level of confidentiality and act as a confidante and/or advisor to the District Director.
In managing the District Director’s office, the incumbent will, among other duties, identify alternatives and solutions to problems, monitor the results of projects and assignments, prepare briefing materials, analyze, and compile research material and monitor the operational efficiency of work activities. Additionally, the incumbent will provide a wide range of communication services to the general public, local and state governmental agencies, elected officials, private and public groups, stakeholders and internal customers. The incumbent will support the Deputy District of Administration, as needed, and the Office Chief of Business and Personnel Management, as well as work with the District Executive Team as needed to support the District Director.
