Located on a 27-acre wooded campus, Fairmount Behavioral Health System is a peaceful, therapeutic environment for patients and families. Fairmount is a major regional resource for children, adolescents and adults who have psychiatric and behavioral problems as well as alcohol and drug dependency needs. The spacious campus borders Fairmount Park in the Roxborough section of Philadelphia. With one of the leading alcohol and drug detox and rehab programs in Philadelphia, Fairmount is the provider of choice for individuals requiring specialized co-occurring psychiatric and chemical dependency treatment.
We are currently seeking an Associate Hospital Administrator (AA) to join our team. The AA is a key member of the Fairmount Behavioral Health Leadership Team who will integrate and coordinate a patient centric strategy with a hands-on approach and keen focus on patient care; ensuring that delivery of high-quality and cost-effective health care is consistent with the mission, vision, and values of Fairmount Behavioral Health and in accordance with government regulation, licensing, and accreditation requirements. The AA participates in the hospital’s strategic planning and contributes to the achievement of institutional goals and objectives. The AA will guide and assist with creating opportunities throughout all functional areas of the Facility up to and including PHPs, IOPs, MATs services, and outpatient services. This individual will be responsible for attainment of goals, setting objectives, assuring plans and policies for hospital are ensuring implantation. When the CEO is unavailable, will serve as the primary point of contact and be accountable for clinical operations in relation to Fairmount Behavioral Health. In conjunction with the CEO, will be instrumental in shaping the organization’s long-term direction for seeking and identifying innovative opportunities and solutions to meet the needs of our patients. The AA will also assume the responsibility for all aspects of expansion and day-to-day operations of outpatient services, including ensuring compliance with TJC, federal, state, local, and other regulatory agencies and creating an environment which supports employee development and teamwork to deliver compassionate patient care in a safe environment. Creates systems, processes, and care standards to support the delivery of patient care in a safe, fiscally sound environment of service excellence. Provides accessible, timely, efficient, cost-effective care by utilizing evidenced -based practice and continuous performance improvement. Fosters an environment that supports growth and community through activities, partnerships, and shared goals. Supports an environment of financial stability to achieve the UHS mission and strategy.

Qualifications:
EDUCATION/TRAINING:
- Master’s Degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Education, or related discipline.
EXPERIENCE:
- Five years of Senior Management experience or equivalent in administrative/leadership.
- Experience with growth and expansion within the Behavioral Health field, preferred.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
- Demonstration of skills in problem solving, critical thinking, written and verbal communication, interpersonal relationships.
- Knowledge in team facilitation.
- Thorough knowledge of data collection, aggregation, statistical analysis, and use of statistical display tools.
