The Position
The position is located in the Analytical Development department, which is part of our Global Technical Development. Global Technical Development is a crucial global organization at Roche that develops innovative technical solutions for all stages of product development. Our goal is to consistently deliver high-quality medicines to patients and we are responsible for analyzing drug substances and final dosage forms of synthetic molecule development products.
Synthetic Molecules Technical Development brings together expertise in drug substance, drug product, analytical sciences, and Manufacturing Science & Technology and we collaborate closely with key partners across Roche’s manufacturing network.
We’re advancing science to ensure everyone has access to the healthcare they need.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in chemistry, pharmacy, biotechnology, or relevant scientific qualification
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in analytical techniques (HPLC, GC) in the pharmaceutical industry
  • Experience in Karl Fischer, Titration and other physical characterization techniques (e.g. for liquid formulation testing)
  • Experience with peptides analytics is a plus and experience with broad formulation principles and familiarity with synthetic molecules technical development
  • Excellent attention to detail, knowledge of GMP requirements, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Fluency in English and good IT skills
