Mölnlycke is now looking for an Associate Laboratory Specialist within Chemical Analysis and Synthesis with experience and expertise within analytical chemistry (method development, validation, and analysis with equipment such as GC/MS, LC/MS, ICP/MS, FTIR) and beneficial with knowledge around extractables and leachables testing for medical devices.
In this position you’ll be working at our headquarters in Gothenburg and already this Autumn within our new labs at GoCo Health Innovation City!

THESE ARE THE MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES FOR THIS POSITION

  • Plan and execute tests and other related tasks in line with assigned area andrepresent area of expertise within projects and activities
  • Set up, execute and update methods or instruments in the laboratory
  • Develop, verify, validate and implement new test methods within assigned area
  • Where applicable, generate Intellectual Property together with the team and our IP department
  • Identify method development needs and requirements
  • Plan, coordinate and execute method development, chemical analysis and related laboratory activities
  • Ensure user requirements for and implementation of laboratory test equipment
  • Track external state of the art technologies
