REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Law from a recognized institution; admission to the Singapore Bar is required.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant legal experience, preferably in the insurance or financial services industry.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore laws and regulations related to insurance and financial services.
• Proven experience in contract drafting, negotiation, and legal research.

• Assist the Chief Legal & Compliance Officer and Chief Distribution Officer in companywide legal matters.
• Provide legal advice and support to various business units, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts, agreements, and legal documents, including but not limited to commercial contracts, agency contracts and incentive agreements.
• Support corporate governance initiatives and participate in corporate secretarial matters, including board meetings and governance reviews.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including risk management, compliance, and business teams, to address legal issues and provide guidance on legal matters.
