SUMMARY:
The Associate M&A will support the entire M&A deal lifecycle from deal origination to deal execution to post-acquisition integration. This role will be a key resource in M&A strategy and execution and will collaborate closely with executive management and external advisors, as well as have exposure to most internal organizations along the deal lifecycle.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance and/or Economics (or a related field)
- 2-3 years of experience in corporate development, private equity, investment banking / M&A advisory, or consulting
- Previous experience building detailed financial / valuation / M&A models
- Previous experience across the M&A and investment lifecycle from deal origination to deal execution and documentation, to post-acquisition integration and management
- Strong critical thinking and analytical skills
- Strong written/verbal presentation, communication, inter-personal skills
- Ability to gain credibility and trust with senior leaders and decision-makers
- Solution and results oriented with ability to solve problems
- Previous music industry experience preferred
- CFA, CPA, MBA / MFin preferred
