Job Description Summary:
As the Marketing Services Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our marketing initiatives by overseeing all marketing services, including vendor management. You will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing initiatives and managing internal and external resources.
This role reports to the Sr. Director, Marketing Business Operations and Performance.
Job Description:

As the Associate Manager, Marketing Services and Agency Management, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Manage marketing services, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and accountability. Work with external agencies and vendors for campaign execution while ensuring the brand messaging is consistent across all channels.
  • Manage vendor relationships effectively, serving as the primary point of contact, addressing issues, and resolving conflicts in a timely manner to ensure the successful delivery of services.
  • Monitor vendor performance against established KPIs and metrics, conducting regular performance reviews and providing feedback to drive continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business development, product development, and finance, to align marketing initiatives with overall business objectives and ensure seamless execution. Seek out efficiencies to all our processes with an eye on mitigating risk.
  • Financials – project to ensure the new model and targets are being tracked appropriately, manual prototype then automate. Monitor marketing budget and provide regular updates to ensure alignment with business objectives and priorities.
  • Lead the planning and execution of marketing projects using agile methodologies, including defining project scope, timelines, and budgets.
  • Develop and execute marketing strategies that are aligned with organizational goals by implementing and optimizing marketing workflows. This includes sprint planning and backlog management through identifying and resolving bottlenecks, challenges, and process gaps that hinder the efficiency of marketing services.
  • Client Relations include negotiating contracts, agreements, and service level agreements (SLAs) with vendors, ensuring favorable terms, cost-effectiveness, and compliance with company policies and standards.
  • Identify and manage vendor relationships effectively, serving as the primary point of contact, addressing issues, and resolving conflicts in a timely manner to ensure the successful delivery of services. This includes onboarding external vendors, agencies, and suppliers to support marketing activities, including advertising, creative services, and digital marketing. Manage vendor performance against established KPIs and metrics and conducting regular performance reviews providing feedback to drive continuous improvement.

The skills and experience required for this role are:

  • Master’s or bachelor’s degree in business, economics, finance, computer science, system analysis or a related field of study, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years’ experience with governance and risk.
  • Ability to document and convey complex topics in an articulate, coherent, and digestible form for diverse business stakeholders including at the executive level, non-financial data stewards, accountants, IT, and end users of the financial systems.
  • Servant-Leadership, organizational, and motivational strengths are essential.
  • Global cultural orientation
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including a professional and diplomatic demeanor.
  • Excellent communication skills including written, verbal, listening, and presentation.
  • Ability to create new and unique ideas and an entrepreneurial spirit a plus.
  • High level of organizational and time management skills
  • Flexibility in competently juggling competing priorities and changing expectations.
