POSITION SUMMARY…

The Associate Manager Process Optimization and Training will be the champion for the development of the Ways of Working with end to end Item onboarding. This role would be responsible for creating the Guiding principles and Guardrails for Standardizing Onboarding documentation (ie. Content Standard Guidelines, Quality Scorecard, NIC-to-VendorPortal) for eCommerce Merchant Operations. Providing qualitative and quantitative inputs on a quarterly basis with the sole focus of optimizing supplier Ways of Working.
Be the Subject matter expert for the total item onboarding process and highlight impacts as we launch into the Next Gen tech integration.
They will collaborate with merchants, PIM team, content strategy team, vendor, SEO, OIF Team, Tech, Suppliers and Learning & Development team.
This role will be the subject matter expert for ensuring our all private branded items under Food, Consumables and GM across both import and domestic vendors are properly entered in our PIM system in a timely manner.

Bachelor’s Degree
3-5 years’ related experience
Process optimization and Project management experience
Vendor relationship management experience
Data Analysis
Must be a collaborative team player‎

Responsibilities:

  1. Responsible for identifying product content quality gaps and enforce content quality standards / improve content quality score where applicable.
  2. Manage portfolio of Content Onboarding programs working with third party agencies as well as various internal stakeholders, including setting up and launching new programs.
  3. Collaborate with internal teams including Site Merchandising to ensure content quality standards are upheld and followed.
  4. Responsible for managing the inputs for driving the framework for item onboarding SOP’s, internal & external training and standardizing knowledge transfer as it relates to item onboarding. Will need to challenge our current process and identify opportunities to optimize SLA’s and standardize efforts across roles.
  5. Responsible to identify process or training gaps with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams to drive item onboarding performance.
  6. Stay in the loop with the execution of the tech roadmap as it relates to item onboarding and take a proactive approach to ensure onboarding requirements are taken into account and making the required adjustments to the onboarding framework documentation. Responsible for providing feedback on the technology roadmap with our 3rd party vendor and product managers to address existing process gaps and integration of Next Gen.
  7. Identify opportunities for process optimization that align to our AOP, create a business case for alignment, and run through POC’s.
  8. Will be required to be an advocate of the ecommerce space and to drive awareness of the importance of item onboarding.
