Associate Managing Consultant, Advisors Business Development
Group Description:

Role Description and Major Responsibilities:
The Senior Sales Analyst will work with all stakeholders within the Financial Services Business Development team and provide analysis, research, and deal support. This will include: (1) Developing sales proposals and SOWs, (2) Analyzing and interpreting issuer cardholder performance to identify sales opportunities, (3) Supporting the development of thought leadership to drive sales activity, and (4) Managing sales and billing administrative processes.

In summary:

  • Support the identification, planning, development, and execution of Advisors sales opportunities within the Financial Services Business Development team
  • Develop sales pitch material and support client presentations to accelerate sales opportunities
  • Work closely with the Financial Services Account Management teams to manage the sales pipeline
  • Handle all sales administration, including entry into Salesforce, and coordinating pipeline management with Finance, Accounting, Legal, and other partners
  • Establish relationships internally and externally, to build and maintain a successful professional network resulting in opportunity identification
  • Assist in being the “voice of the customer” – identify new revenue-generating opportunities for Mastercard to create new Advisors offerings that meet client needs

Core Competencies:

  • Passion for Mastercard and working in a sales environment to drive results; desire to explore sales / account management as a career path
  • Strong technical skills: proven ability to use Microsoft PowerPoint for impactful presentation creation, as well as Excel, and Word
  • Strong analytical skills: aptitude for working with financial information and operational data, including experience with developing business cases & strategic analysis
  • Strong communication skills; able to balance command of the details with ability to deliver clear, concise summary
  • Self-motivated and solutions oriented with a proven track record of delivering multiple projects within a team environment
  • Ability to build relationships and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders
  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Languages: Local language, fluent English, additional languages highly desirable
  • Preferred Location: Toronto
