Associate Managing Consultant, Advisors Client Services, Marketing
.Overview
This position will be responsible to provide payments-focused marketing services to financial institutions, acquires and merchants addressing complex challenges and opportunities of its clients. Address MasterCard’s strategic and tactical performance and define different solutions for marketing campaigns. Set up strategic plan for different markets and measurable customer behavior among all payment life cycle for credit, debit and prepaid through multiple channels.

Key deliverables:

  • To support the Marketing Services, Advisors to pitch for new business opportunities as well as manage a few key banks/issuers and partners to provide marketing consultancy as well as to deliver marketing solutions and executions of superior standard in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Create a good environment with customers through leading excellent service and attendance to consolidate partnerships
  • Lead problem solving efforts and structure the project work plan
  • He/she should be able to lead, influence drive and deliver the digital marketing agenda internally and with partners across all key marketing strategies and initiatives to achieve key business objectives and strong returns of marketing investments.
  • The key deliverables are as follows
  • Campaign management & delivery - support, plan and execute marketing campaigns
  • Media planning, channels management and deployment - Media management as well as ATL & BTL planning and implementation. Well-versed in digital, fully integrated Omni-channels planning -web, mobile, email, SMS, social media-, development and implementation.
  • Digital marketing – experienced and well-versed in end-to-end digital marketing which includes analytical review of media strategies and plans, trouble shoot and work with partners to propose successful results-driven digital marketing strategies. Ability to hone in on trends and insights and propose innovative and strategic digital marketing solutions that drive value and results
  • Marketing Consultancy – review, analyze and present clear and strategic recommendations to deliver result-driven marketing solutions that span across different functions and disciplines. He/she should be able to leverage media insights and trends as well as consumer insights to design effective results-driven marketing and communication strategies.
  • Customer acquisition strategies – initiate ideas and implement marketing initiatives with external agencies, banks and/or partners to design and execute marketing initiatives and programs
  • Stakeholders management – strong interpersonal skills to liaise and co-ordinate with agencies, Mastercard stakeholders, issuers and partners
  • Strategic planning & implementation - ability to strategize, ideate, plan and execute digital marketing strategies and campaigns as well as tracking and measuring results
  • Analytics & Data - leveraging, interpreting and analyzing data and insights to plan and implement marketing initiatives. This includes customer retention and loyalty marketing strategies
  • Marketing support and administration - support and co-ordinate with internal and external parties to process payments and to ensure timely submission for financials through Mastercard’s core systems

Capabilities:

  • Knowledge and experience in Customer Life Cycle Management: Acquisition, Activation and Retention.
  • Well versed in managing marketing and creative development processes end to end.
  • Strong digital and social media knowledge and has managed major campaigns end-to-end. These should include: acquisition, spending growth, loyalty and brand initiatives,
  • Ability to support and complement client’s various processes and overall marketing processes end to end
  • Strong ability to manage multiple time sensitive projects with multiple deliverables across multiple disciplines at one go.
  • Highly analytical and results oriented; with adept ability to interpret internal and external data and insights to provide effective marketing recommendations and follow through the projects with timely and hands-on execution. Support in problem solving.
  • Strong interpersonal communication and presentation skills with stakeholders of different seniority - Good negotiation skills and teamwork.
  • Expert in digital and offline marketing strategies and programs and these include understanding analytics and data, design and implement roadmaps and programs with the most impactful results
  • Coordinate multifunctional and multicultural teams: Subject Matter Experts, Agencies, Issuers product and communication teams.
  • Ability to adapt and is able to perform efficiently against tight timelines and is equally efficient in ambiguous situations and projects
  • Knowledge in Marketing Platforms to support us and our clients in the implementation of marketing activities.
  • Fluent English required -oral, written-; Spanish language.

Specific Requirements:

  • Must have at least 5 years of related experience in Marketing/Communication. Large financial institution can be an extra.
  • Omni-Channel Marketing Experience with at least exposure in two or more of the following channels required: direct mail and event based marketing
  • Contract negotiation and agency management
  • Digital marketing knowledge and experience is a must -mix between theory and practice.
  • Experienced in managing creative and media agencies
  • Excellent PowerPoint & Excel skills; excellent oral and written presentation skills
  • Ability to critique media plan and review creative work strategically
  • Credit/Debit cards experience -preferred.
  • Experience in budget management and project cost control.
  • Ability to implement and execute integrated marketing initiatives end to end – these include direct marketing, digital, CRM, above and below the line activities
  • Proven ability with marketing analytics, measuring, managing and analyzing marketing performance to maximize its effectiveness and optimize return on investment in every project/campaign stage -planning, fulfillment, results measurement, etc.
  • Be an Innovation ambassador, constantly seeking the best-in-class digital solutions & disruptive marketing trends for driving digital solutions in every stage of the projects, always taking in mind excellence in delivery.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills across disciplines and seniority levels.
  • Ability to work effectively well within a team and independently
  • Well-versed in marketing and core banking processes
  • Willingness to travel for work delivery -estimated 20%.
