Meaningful Work From Day One
This role is accountable for the localization, implementation and evaluation of brand, business and consumer programming to maximize growth, profitability and brand equity, consistent with national brand strategy. Success in the role is superb execution of local brand campaigns across footprint clusters.

What You Can Expect

  • Support the Marketing Manager in identifying, implementing and executing relevant local media partnerships, events, sponsorships, etc. that will support the overall brand, business and consumer plan for the cluster
  • Lead local activation of highly innovative, cut-through brand building programs
  • Work with brand teams to create local programs and materials consistent with brand strategy and equity guidelines
  • Evaluate programs and initiatives, making recommendations for discontinuation or improvement
  • Partner with commercial team to educate, plan, and evaluate agency (Hive, Greenhouse) execution of assigned brand initiatives
  • Serve as primary point of contact for consumer marketing agency ambassador team members working in the field, partnering with the agency to ensure optimal resourcing
  • Manage local consumer marketing funds (sponsorships, local media, consumer focused activities, brand events) and provide input into local resource allocation decisions
  • Serve as a critical resource for local consumer and competitive insights
  • Champion brand building by providing category/portfolio/brand expertise and conduct tastings and brand education training

What You Bring to the Table

  • A minimum of 4 years marketing (or combined sales and marketing) experience in a consumer goods environment
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 35% of the time, including weekends
  • Demonstrated ability to build productive relationships and communicate effectively, written and verbal, across all levels, functions and cultures
  • Demonstrated experience developing, executing and managing brand programs
  • Strong analytic skills with demonstrated ability to turn “insights to actions”
  • Successful track record working in a high-pressure environment, meeting deadlines and simultaneously developing, deploying, and coordinating multiple projects with minimum supervision
  • Experience working on projects with cross-functional teams meeting consensus goals
  • Demonstrated ability to manage through influence with internal and external partners, including agencies (POS development, advertising)
  • Demonstrated ability developing and executing innovative “big ideas” that grow brands
  • Demonstrated success negotiating and managing contracts in accordance with internal processes and legal requirements
  • Demonstrated strength managing vendors and budgets

Pay
The range of pay for the role is $113,880 - 139,186 plus a 25% bonus (the base salary will be $91,104 - $111,349 paid semi-monthly; plus the cost of labor allowance equal to 25% of the base salary). The 25% bonus will be calculated off the base pay and cost of labor allowance paid annually contingent on performance of the company and individual.
