Associate Mental Health Practitioner Band 4

1. Provide service users and their carers with a service that is culturally sensitive and gives due consideration to any special needs including those related to later life. 2. Act in ordnance with the direction of an appropriate practitioner (i.e nurse, doctor or pharmacist) to administer medication as and when required following competency assessment and supervision.
2. Provide information on health promotion and healthy living 4. Have informed knowledge and understanding of the mental health act 1983 amended 2007 in particular part 3 of the act and other legislations such as safe guarding children, adults, DOLS, Mental Capacity Act 2005 and other realting to care of service users in the community 5. To undertake and assist in the organisation of the day to day smooth running of HMS 6.
   Contribute towards the ongoing quality of service and care identity any risk issues in relation to the patients/ clients health and social care
