We are looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic and experienced Registered Nurse to work as part of our multidisciplinary team on the medical/surgical ward at our Wonthaggi Campus.

About the Role

The ANUM:

  • Works collaboratively with the Nurse Unit Manager to facilitate and foster the efficient and effective provision of client care, based on clinical standards and best practice principles within a collaborative multidisciplinary team
  • Participates in the coordination of overall client care
  • Supports excellence in clinical practice and promotes the development of nurses and the multidisciplinary team, within their scopes of practice.
  • Participates in the local quality activities of the ward
  • Demonstrates competence in the provision of person-centred care as specified by the registering authority’s licence to practise, education preparation and context of care
  • Demonstrate a sound level of skills in assessment, care planning, practice and evaluation in the provision of care to clients and their significant others.

About You

You must also meet the following requirements:

  • Registration with Nursing Midwifery Board Australia (NMBA)
  • Minimum of 3 years experience (desirable)
  • Well-developed clinical skills
  • Ability to time manage and work in a busy medical/surgical ward
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and consultatively as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • A current driver’s licence
  • A Valid Police check
  • COVID-19 Vaccination in accordance with the Chief Health officer -COVID-19 Mandatory Vaccination Directions
  • Flu Vaccination
