ASSOCIATE NURSE UNIT MANAGER

• $47.00 - $54.06 per hour
• A rotating roster, 7 days per week across three shifts

  Based in Gippsland, Latrobe Regional Health are looking for an Associate Nurse Unit Manager to join our Parent and Infant Unit on a fixed term basis.
  The Agnes Unit is a 5 bed Unit designed to provide 24/7 support and care to Mothers and babies who are experiencing difficulty during the first twelve months of their babies’ life. The Unit invites Mother’s with a range of complex mental health conditions such as post-natal depression, bi-polar, borderline personality disorder, depression and anxiety and for those who are generally seeking support during this time.

The key accountabilities of the Associate Nurse Unit Manager (Parent & Infant Unit) include, but are not limited to:

• Enhancement of families’ parenting competencies
• Providing holistic assistance, support and effective skills development
• Enhancing parents’ knowledge, skills and attitudes related to nurture and protection of their infants
• Willingness to facilitate therapeutic group work
