SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Previous experience as an ANUM in an Equipment role very advantageous

- Preferably possess or be working towards completion of a managerial qualification
Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE
This position is pivotal to the Operating Suite coordination of equipment, consumables and ensuring surgical case preparation. The role requires close networking and liaising with varied health specialists within Grampians Health and external, and consultation with a wide range of companies. These hours are offered as 9.5hr shifts Monday to Friday. The role will be job shared with one other ANUM. You will be able to work collaboratively and consultatively as part of a multidisciplinary team, have demonstrated leadership ability and have a clear understanding of the managerial responsibilities of an Associate Nurse Unit Manager.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- See company representatives and disseminate specific information to Nursing, Allied Health, and Medical staff
- Maintain stock levels, ordering of stock, consigned items and loan kits.
- Liaise with the supply department and coordinate supplies
- Arrange and coordinate trials
- Liaise with CSSD for processing of instrumentation and repairs
- Investigate and research products whilst being budget conscious
- Collaborate with the Education staff for in-service education on specific instruments, consoles, consumables and new technologies.
- Coordinate with the engineering department for replacement equipment, monitoring of equipment and capital funding equipment
- Communicate and act as a communication link with ANUMs and NUM of the department.
