Be part of the leadership team opening Epworth Eastern’s General Medical Unit as an ANUM working on a part-time basis (30 hours per week).
This 21 bed multi-disciplinary unit uses an integrated team approach to ensure a high quality of patient care for acute and chronic medical patients across a range of specialties. Supported by 24-hour medical emergency assistance from Epworth Eastern’s Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
At Epworth, our General Medicine teams play a vital role in the well-being of thousands of patients who may be suffering from debilitating or distressing conditions. A wide range of acute and chronic medical problems are treated with advanced care, technology and services by multidisciplinary teams.

You will either be in an ANUM role or looking to step into an ANUM role. You are a good communicator, flexible in your approach and have natural ability to show compassion and empathy to patients and their families. You’re keen to progress your career, learn how to lead a unit and are open to mentoring and accessing internal education and development programs that support your journey.

You will have:

• 2-3 years leadership experience in a general medical nursing environment
• Ability to make autonomous operational business decisions
• Passionate about employee coaching and development
• Well-developed and effective cross-department relationship management skill
