Description:

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) administered though the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (APHRA).
  • Demonstrated commitment to ongoing personal and professional development, as evidenced in a Continuing Professional Development (CPD) record/Profession al practice Portfolio.
  • Postgraduate qualification in critical care nursing or willingness to undertake.
  • Minimum 2 years of current Paediatric Critical Care Nursing Experience.

Responsibilities:

This is a Permanent position either Fixed term, Part time or Full time within Rosella ward, Paediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU).
We are looking for Registered Nurses that are interested in developing leadership and managerial skills to support the growth of our Paediatric Intensive Care services at the Royal Childrens Hospital (RCH). This is a great opportunity for Registered Nurses with extensive paediatric critical care experience wanting to transition into the leadership team within Rosella ward. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the delivery of hig-quality, patient and family centered care, and contributes to the overal operational efficiency of the organisation. You will manage day-to-day activities, coordinate resources, enable patient flow and support the team. You will require a strong combination of clinical, managerial, operational and interpersonal skills to drive performance and foster a positive work enviroment in Rosella ward.
Classification for this position will range from ANUM Year 1 - Year 2 (YW11-YW12) (FTE base salary $106,834 to $110,432 per annum, plus superannuation).
